Diagnostic Unit – Papworth Hospital
The project was designed for use as a one stop diagnostic unit for the Hospital’s inpatient requirements and as an outpatient facility for neighbouring hospitals and clinics. Work included the housing of a Digital X-ray machine, a MRI scanner and a CT scanner with associated reporting rooms, waiting areas, administration and consultant’s offices.
The building with the installed diagnostic equipment was handed over within 11 months and fully functional by the hospital within 13 months from obtaining planning permission.
