Comberton Village College
A major expansion programme comprising of a new build Arts and Science Facility, a Multi Purpose Hall, an infrastructure upgrade, extensions and refurbishment of existing dining hall / kitchen and changing facilities with additional work to the sports fields.
New tennis courts and Nike 3rd generation all weather pitches were negotiated during the course of the time spent on site.
Successful delivery of this complex project was a result of careful co-ordination with our client team. Work was completed in many locations of the occupied college without encroaching on their everyday activities.
Construction methods and materials varied widely but of note were: steel frames with curved feature trusses and castellated beams, glass and AFM blocks, curved aluminium standing seem roofs, under floor heating and Gyvlon screeds, acoustic door sets and Granwood sprung floors.
