Education Centre, Southend University Hospital
A new 1300m² 3 storey building linked into the existing Education Centre at Southend University Hospital. The extension comprises of 24 offices, 5 meeting rooms, 3 hub rooms and WC/shower facilities. An attractive glass atrium provides plenty of outside light centrally to the reception and circulation areas.
Successful completion of the project can be attributed to good communication in solving the many logistical problems of operating within a busy hospital environment. Evers hosted regular impact meetings with Hospital Staff in order to co-ordinate activities. The project was also awarded the title of "An Exceptional Site" under the Considerate Constructor Scheme.
