Oaklands Museum
Oaklands is a large 2 storey house built in 1865 standing in substantial grounds now used as a Museum set within parkland.
Construction work to the museum comprised of the demolition of a previously built extension, remodelling of the existing building and a new contemporary extension. The contract reflected both the character of the site and the clients’ environmental considerations complying with the requirements of Natural England and the local planning and Heritage officers whilst achieving a Breeam rating of Very Good.
