Saffron Walden Library

This particularly interesting project involved the sensitive restoration and alteration to the existing Grade 11 listed Library located in the market square.  The site team encountered numerous challenges to overcome restricted access to the building and the sensitive interfaces between several adjacent property owners whilst taking care of the existing building fabric and its valuable historic contents.

The project received praise and recognition from our client and the Local Authority and was nominated as a finalist at the RICS regional awards.
