Opening of new teaching block at Knights Templar School.

We attended the grand opening of the new teaching block we recently built at the Knights Templar School.

The new two storey teaching block provided Design and Technology facilities such as IT classrooms, food tech rooms, arts and graphics rooms and a new drama studio. To celebrate the food tech students used their new facilities to prepare and serve guests with a wonderful array of cakes and drinks.

The students, teachers and in particular the headteacher was extremely happy with how the project was managed throughout the entire programme. The headteacher, Tim Litchfield, during his speech thanked the entire project team for all their hard work in completing the project on time and within budget whilst making sure the learning facilities catered for the needs of both the students and teachers.

Following his speech, Rich Simmons a local contemporary Urban Pop Artist cut the ribbon to the main doors of the building.

This project  was the 3rd phase of works completed by Evers at the school.
