Robin Davy set to retire after 42 years at T J Evers.

Robin Davy our Special Works Project Manager set to retire after 42 years at T J Evers.

Robin joined the company in January 1975 as a labourer. He worked his way up to Assistant Site Manager and went to college to study and gain further knowledge of the Construction Industry. Robin continued to work extremely hard and found himself promoted to Site Manager. A few years later he took on the role and responsibility of running the special works division and there he remained until this day.

The staff at Evers along with a few old faces, joined Robin in celebrating his retirement with a fantastic meal at GreyFriars. Robin produced a well written and thorough speech that no doubt was planned meticulously many months ago in true Robin fashion. He started by talking about all the great times and memories he’s had whilst working for the company. Robin finished by thanking his wife for taking such great care of their family and to the Directors and work colleagues for all their support over the years.

Robin has plenty of hobbies that he is hoping to concentrate on during his retirement. Both Robin and his wife Bev enjoy working on their garden and going away on exotic holidays. He has a particular love for music, photography and of course his family.  Robin’s family is very important to him, with 3 grandchildren and a fourth just arrived.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Robin for his hard work, dedication and loyalty and for being such a fantastic person to work with.

The many clients he has worked with over the years will happily join us in wishing him a long, happy and healthy retirement.

Robin, you will be sadly missed!
