TJ Evers once again took to the streets of Chelmsford to compete in the 20th Annual Birketts’ Race4Business at 6.30pm on Thursday 21st June 2018.
Our team included Marie Paveley, Johanna Banks, Bill Dyer, Chris Fricker and Alan Evers. We had a smaller team this year due to holidays and injuries but welcomed some new faces. The team consisted of 30-56 year olds and represented a variety of departments including Accounts, Estimating, Joinery and the Board of Directors.
The race was in aid of charity with all proceeds going to Farleigh Hospice https://www.farleighhospice.org/. Marie was our fastest runner this year and she is getting quicker every year!
Great fun was had by all, with some achieving PB’s and others just happy to finish. Everyone’s efforts were celebrated with a well-deserved pub meal at The Riverside Inn.
