TJ Evers once again took to the streets of Chelmsford to compete in the annual Birketts’ Race4Business at 6.30pm on Thursday 15th June 2017.
Our team included Tom Norton, Simon Cooper, Marie Paveley, Joe Chester, Matthew Browning, Kerry Thorneloe, Bill Dyer, and our illustrious leader Alan Evers. Our team consisted of 20-55 year olds and represented a variety of departments including Accounts, Buying, Estimating, Electrical Division, Surveying and the Board of Directors.
The race was run in aid of charity with all proceeds going to ‘SNAP’ (Special Needs and Parents) http://www.snapcharity.org/.Tom was the quickest team member on the day with a time similar to that of a racing whippet.
Great fun was had by all, with some achieving PB’s and others just happy to finish. Everyone’s efforts were celebrated with a well-deserved pub meal at The Riverside Inn.
