EVERS WEAR IT PINK
Posted: Nov 3, 2009
On Friday the 30th October Letty organised staff at head office to take part in the national wear it pink day in aid of breast cancer research. This is one of many charities the company supports throughout the year.
All members of staff at Head office took part, with many wearing pink shirts, and ties. Some of the male members of staff had to delve into their wives underwear drawers to find ……… socks and Simon Cooper happily modelled his wife’s bright pink hoodie.
In total £105.16 was raised with all donations helping to fund innovative, world-class research throughout the UK and Ireland to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.
The day added a bit of fun to the office and was topped off by Kerry making breast shaped cakes for everyone.
