Creffield Road, Colchester

T J Evers joins forces with Colchester Amphora Homes for the second time to construct more affordable housing in the Colchester Area.

This project involved the refurbishment of an existing Victorian house into 6no flats with landscape and paving areas for residents parking and 2no ground floor flats with gardens included.

The Victorian house comprised of extensive works to internal structures to form new openings and re-shape the building for the new flats. Internal linings were installed, and acoustic flooring laid. There were extensive repairs to the existing windows, replacement of lead flat roof, and brick and stone repairs.

The new building consisted of 2no semi detached 3 storey townhouses. This involved brick and block masonry external walls with cast stone features to the front entrance, matching clay plain tiles
installed to the roof. Rendered panels were constructed to the front entrance, dormer windows and timber windows with featured louvred panels were also fitted.
