Office Hub, Sible Hedingham

The project involved the construction of a new two storey office building located at the entrance of a large housing estate.

The construction took place on a brownfield site replacing an existing window and doors factory.

The construction comprised of piled foundations and PCC block and beam floor. PC                  C fair faced stairs, a stair lift and landings were installed.

The walls consisted of facing brickwork with coloured mortar and curtain walling with a canopy situated above the entrance. The roof comprised a mixture of single ply flat and pitched tile roofing.

Internally there was 3no. office space a kitchen area and toilets on both the ground and first floor.

The project achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘ Very Good’ and was registered with Considerate Constructor Scheme.
