Prospects College, Basildon

The new build and external remodelling at the Luckyn Lane campus of Prospects College resulting in a 360m², 3-storey building housing skills training spaces, an administration centre, a 150 seat restaurant, a learning resource centre, exhibition halls and an auditorium. Complex design and construction embraced passive systems to utilise natural daylight and ventilation.

The construction of the building was formed by a steel-frame, clad with Composite panels, along with Vittral sloped glazing. Internally, lightweight walls were installed to divide the first and second floors into individual spaces and external detailing was carried out linking the new building to the existing occupied college.
