The Granary, Stapleford

The scheme involved a new extension, a link extension and the refurbishment of existing barns to provide additional modern and high-quality office space.

The new single storey extension provided offices, toilets with showers, 2 kitchen areas, a reception area and a large corridor with seating. The corridor had a BauBuche frame, beams and columns with a BauBuche flooring and ceiling panels. Iguzzini strip lights in a bespoke made pelmet lined the existing brickwork.

The corridor opened onto a steel frame walkway used as a veranda. The veranda had an oak pergola to allow the wisteria to grow over it with millboard decking, a composite material with a wood grain finish.

Other works included structural repairs, a new steel fire escape stair and other minor repairs to the existing parts of the building.

Our in-house joinery department installed  the stairs, benches, shelves and cabinets in the offices and put in the kitchen units.
