Environment

We are committed to sustainability and our business operates effectively to safeguard the environment today and in the future.

We recognise that our operations and the waste we produce have an effect on the local, regional and global environment. All of our staff are trained in our environmental management policy and given guidance in its implementation.

Continual improvement is a major part of ISO accreditation and through management review we monitor policies and procedures to ensure we apply best practice.  We provide leadership and raise awareness of these issues with all our staff and project team to promote continuous improvement. Evers operate with an integrated management system incorporating both Quality 9001 and Environmental 14001 management systems. Our robust management system outlines our plan to minimise waste and how we can manage and mitigate these risks.

We aim to minimise the impact our activities have on the environment by reducing our carbon footprint and waste through effective planning and recycling.

We use sub-contractors and suppliers who comply with the requirements of our environmental management policy, and will help sub-contractors and suppliers to comply with environmental laws and regulations as much as possible. All subcontractors are trained via site inductions before they start on site.

We comply with the Considerate Constructor Scheme and BREEAM where required.
