We know our staff play a huge part in our business and therefore we encourage and support our staff to achieve professional qualifications. We invest in training and developing our team to reach their full potential and have a great understanding of each individual’s needs.
Our structured training plan reflects our objectives and industry requirements and is regularly monitored and audited CITB for best practice.
Quality workmanship is embedded within our culture at Evers. We employ apprentices in all disciplines of the construction industry ensuring our directly employed workforce remain highly skilled and produce the quality of work expected on all of our projects.
We actively seek to recruit people who are wishing to embark on technical and managerial careers in Construction. There are opportunities for people interested in all construction disciplines including Quantity Surveying, Purchasing, Estimating and Project Management.
Our training programme at this level runs in conjunction with local colleges and universities offering Degree courses over a 5-year period on a day release basis. This approach has significant benefits for both us as employers and students alike. Students have an opportunity to support their studies with practical experience and earn while they learn. We coach and mentor students using personal development plans providing opportunities for responsibility at an early stage. Our continued support is then given to obtain membership of CIOB or RICS.
