TJ Evers are delighted to have secured this contract for the construction of a new £3.87m facility for Tendring District Council on an existing brownfield site.
The project comprises of 200m2 covered market space, 26 individual business units (including a café space), public toilets, extensive on-site permeable roadway and associated hard paved areas. With additional features including a community garden, soft play surfaced area, market storage, cycle parking and cycle shelter provision and interlocking sheet piled retaining structures. Including Section 278 works comprising the construction of a new bell mouth junction onto the existing public highway.
This project, partly funded by Essex County Council, is part of the ongoing redevelopment and will provide a much-needed facility for both the local and business community alike.
