TJ Evers are pleased to be awarded a further phase of work at Chancellor’s School in Hatfield, Herts, this time for the remodelling of the existing gymnasium block into a teaching facility. We are particularly looking forward to working with Danes Educational Trust, LGH Architects and Tillyard Quantity Surveyors at the school once again.
The project comprises significant alterations and upgrading of the building envelope, including the introduction of extensive new areas of curtain walling, installation of a new steel frame within the existing building together with a new upper floor, lift and staircase to provide a new main school entrance, four new classrooms, four new offices, two new meeting rooms, reprographics room plus associated ancillary and circulatory space.
The project is programmed to be completed within 24 weeks, with the new facility due for occupation to coincide with the October 2024 half term.
