The Capel Cheetahs Running Club hosted its ever-popular annual 5-mile road race and 1-mile fun run on Sunday, 12th October 2025, in Capel St Mary.
Evers, one of the event’s five main sponsors, continued its long-standing support, helping make the event a sell-out success once again. Thanks to this generous backing, runners enjoyed professional chip timing, category winner awards, and high-quality finishers’ medals—all contributing to the polished and enjoyable race day experience.
Race-day conditions were perfect: dry, calm, and pleasantly cool, setting the stage for fast times and high spirits.
Over 100 enthusiastic juniors, from under-8s to under-15s, took part in the 1-mile fun run, while 229 runners tackled the scenic and challenging 5-mile course.
