We’re proud to share that The Sunspot, Jaywick Sands has been recognised at the Civic Trust Awards, receiving the Special Award for Community Impact & Engagement.
As the main building contractor, it’s incredibly rewarding to have contributed to such a meaningful, community-driven project. Located in Jaywick Sands, one of England’s most deprived areas, Sunspot was designed to create opportunities, bring people together, and provide a welcoming, valuable space for local residents.
Completed in 2023, the project continues to receive well-deserved recognition and praise for its positive impact.
This achievement reflects a truly collaborative effort, and we’re grateful to have worked alongside our trusted partners: HAT Projects, Ingleton Wood, Potter Raper, Daniel Connal Partnership, and Tendring District Council.
