T J Evers Ultimate Big Quiz Night 2019

T J Evers teamed up with the Big Picture Film Charity to host ‘The Ultimate Big quiz night’ on Thursday 28th February 2019.

The night was a complete success (and at times extremely competitive) with all 20 tables selling out within 1 week of being on sale.

We are ashamed to say neither the T J Evers teams nor Tiptree Building Supplies made it to the top 3 of the leader board, however one of the Evers teams did make it to a respectable 5th place. Obviously, the competition was extremely tough this year!

The scores changed after each round with only a few points between the teams, we were however happy to award 1st place to ‘Team Milbank’ who managed to score consistently throughout all 12 rounds so congratulations!

A big thank you to all our guests for taking part in the night and raising a staggering sum in excess of £3500. The money will help the Big Picture Film Charity to raise awareness of their profile enabling other charities to promote their cause through films produced by them.

We would also like to say a massive thank you to Big Picture Charity Films for putting on such a well organised, successful quiz night and for the work they do to date.

Big Picture are a UK based Registered Charity working exclusively to help existing charities and voluntary organisations raise awareness of their causes. A visual presence through film is now a vital way for charities to communicate with both existing and potential supporters and clients. Films can be instantly seen online, taking the viewer to the heart of the project and are a powerful tool to enable a charity to promote and educate others as to what they do.

They are a charity with a Christian ethos that receives absolutely no external funding. They offer their services at vastly reduced rates, but rely entirely on their own fundraising activities and the generosity of their supporters. A final thank you goes to Crosslight sound and production services for providing all sound, lighting and visual services free of charge. For more information please visit: http://crosslight.org.uk/
