We have recently commenced the necessary realignment works to the existing entrance of the car park. It was decided back in December that the works should be delayed due to the busy run up to Christmas and prevent reducing the amount of available car park spaces for the shoppers.
We have decided to install a self-erecting tower crane due to the restricted space for vehicle movements and storing materials. This has proven to be a great asset during the superstructure phase.
The apartments now named as ‘Montgomery House’ have progressed to roof covering phase and the fit-out phase is to begin shortly.
The houses now named ‘Kings Row’ are being progressed to roof level with the garages following closely behind.
We would like to thank the public, local residents and motorists for your patience. We know the construction of the entrance has caused some minor disruptions, it is however our number 1 priority to ensure the highest level of health and safety is maintained at all times.
We would also like to thank the entire project team involved with the housing development at Barton Road, Ely. The site is situated in an extremely tight and restricted area and as a result our team have been faced with some extremely difficult challenges along the way. Despite this we have continued to work very hard to deal with all encounters quickly and efficiently whilst minimising any disruption to the public.
