We are delighted to deliver a New Art Café for our Client, The Dacon Trust, a fantastic charity that offers support and work skills training opportunities to adults with learning disabilities.
Working with the Trust, we converted a former butcher’s shop into a new café and art gallery with office accommodation situated on the floor above. The Level Best Art Café provides a variety of fresh food and drinks and is run by qualified staff and trainees who help people to develop their artistic skills.
This project was particularly challenging due to the location of the premises, working around occupied tenants and the planning conditions. However, by working closely with Shape Architecture and Daniel Connal Partnership, a local QS Practice, we were able to overcome these challenges and construct another high-quality project.
The new café is due to open to the public in April 2023.
